Free & neutral expert advice on green procurement of data centres by EURECA project
30 maggio 2017 - 09:32

The Horizon 2020 EU-funded project EURECA tackles the lack of knowledge and awareness of how to identify and procure environmentally-sound and greener data centres.

Until end of 2017, EURECA is offering free, non-binding and vendor-neutral advice on the environment-oriented procurement of data centres, data centre services, and data centre hardware. It covers advice on energy efficiency issues as well as general environmental optimisation, including procurement of innovation (PPI). The offer includes new data centers, pooling of server rooms, co-location, replacement or modernisation of any of the hardware, cooling, UPS, etc., as well as the complete outsourcing in hosting or cloud.

The offer is reserved for public institutions in Europe which are planning such projects or are already preparing the tender. The support can be provided in English, German, French and Dutch.

Both purchasers and data center-related IT experts from the public sector are invited to apply.
