    “Green cities for a greener future”: Label your event as a partner of the EU Green Week 2018

    Any city (big or small) can apply for labelling their local event as a partner event of the EU Green Week 2018!

    The Green Week - Europe’s leading environment event - will hold its 2018 edition from 21 to 25 May. Any city (big or small), environmental organisations, science centres and museums, business organisations, associations, etc., can applyto label their events as partner events.

    • What are the requirements?

    A partner event is an event organised at national, regional or local level that contributes to this year's theme “Green cities for a greener future”. Sustainable mobility, waste management, air quality, urban biodiversity, energy, climate, land planning, noise, and green procurement are amongst the wide range of topics that fit the theme.Any type of event that is to be held between 21 April and 10 June 2018 is elegible: seminar, conference, study visit, webinar, open doors, etc. Events that promote a participatory approach regarding sustainable urban development are highly relevants.

    Whether your event is already planned, or is still in its concept phase, it can be branded as a partner event of the EU Green Week.

    • What are the benefits?

    - The partner event enjoys visibility at European level through the Green Week website

    - Partner event organisers are authorised to advertise their event as officially part of Green Week and to use the official Green Week branding

    - Green Week promotional material is provided

    - Event organisers can learn from other event organisers across Europe via a search facility on the Green Week website.

    • How to apply?

    Register your event at www.eugreenweek.eu by the end of February.

    The European Commission will check the event and you will be informed of the results of your application within a few working days.
